Project Details

This facility project includes a 97,000 square ft. facility which will include a recreation center and natatorium. The Recreation Center will include a gymnasium, weight room, children's and youth rooms, racket ball courts, dance/aerobics and a multipurpose room, kitchen, locker rooms and a second story indoor track, and cycling room. The natatorium will include a 50 meter pool, double three meter diving boards, double one meter diving boards, and a warm up pool with a zero depth entry.

Project Justification

The City of Pearland and Pearland Independent School District identified a common facility need and partnership opportunity. Together with the Pearland Economic Development Corporation, the Recreation Center will serve City residents and Natatorium will serve as a competitive swim facility and indoor pool for residents.
